Patch 5.3 Unlocks

 The following is where to unlock the main item for 5.3.

MSQ:

YoRHa

    We Can Rebuild Her

    Kholusia (X:34.7, Y:18.2)- Dig Site Chief

Sorrow of Werlyt

    Sleep Now in Sapphire

    The Lochs (X:11.3, Y:22.5)- Resistance Officer

Custom Deliveries

    O Crafter, My Crafter

    The Firmament (X:13.5, Y:11.2)- Ehll Tou

Faux Hollow

    Fantastic Mr. Faux

    Idyllshire (X:7.0, Y: 5:9)- Painfully Ishgardian Man

Dwarf tribe

    It's Dwarfin' Time

    Kholusia (X:15.7, Y:30.3)- Affable Townsdwarf

Now for MSQ (main story quest) you will have had to first completed the quest Echoes of a Fallen Star- aka the MSQ of patch 5.2.

For YoRha, you must have completed the quest One way to do it. Now, if you did not go back to Kholusia during patch 5.2 to complete Carnivals and Confrontations and One way to do it- I would do that prior to the patch dropping on the 11th. You will talk to the Dig Site Chief to start the Carnivals and Confrontations quest.

Sorrow of Werlyt, you will have had to completed Ruby Doomsday- aka Ruby Weapon to start this. This quest unlocks after the 5.2 MSQ quest Old Enemies, New Threats. If you have not gotten to patch 5.2 MSQ- you cannot unlock this. If you have, simply go to the Resistance Officer in The Lochs to do Ruby Doomsday, do the Ruby Weapon Trial, and then you can be ready for Sapphire Weapon on the 11th.

Custom Deliveries

To unlock custom deliveries there are two quest that need to be completed. If Songs Had Wings and Go West, Craftsman. Now the If Song had Wings- if you haven't been to the Firmament since it was completed- go and you will talk with Francel for the quest A Home in the Firmament. Following the quests and if will unlock the quest If Songs Had Wings quest. Go West, Craftsman is in Mor Dhona by the NPC- Lydirlona (X:22, Y:6).

Faux Hollows

This is for the new unreal trials. To unlock this- you have to complete the Shadowbringer quest- aka 5.0 MSQ and Keeping Up with the Aliapohs. If your not sure if you have done this- if you have a Wondrous Tails unlocked- you have- if not- talk with the Unctuous Adventurer Idyllshire at the same spot that the Painfully Ishgardian Man will be and you will be able to get the quest and unlock it. 

Dwart Tribe

This is for the new crafting beast tribe. To unlock the quest It's Dwarfin' Time- you need to have completed Ronitt to the Rescue- which is only unlocked by completing a series of quest from 2 separate quest lines. A Disagreeable Dwarf- most people should have already completed- due to the fact that an aether current is a reward- so if you haven't done any quest since then- the next quest in that line is Almost a Friend- which the NPC is Ronitt at X:13.5, Y: 8.3. Now Village of Woe, the NPC is Eueliss at X: 15.3, Y: 28.6. Complete the series, then complete Ronitt to the Rescue to be ready for the 11th.
